True. Social media is honestly ushering us into a new level of delusion and insanity as a society.
I don’t know if people are ready to hear this though, the common response when people attempt to take on social media is to deflect and distract.
Not just children, it’s closing in on being one of the worst inventions mankind has ever conceived.

Social media is a cancer and kids should avoid it like the plague. It’s crazy when you think about how many kids are using this site. You get into an argument with someone about capitalism vs socialism and then realize you are arguing with a teenager who is confidently stating they know how the global economy should operate because a twitch streamer told them so.

Social media is just a tool, there’s been “toxic tidal waves” way before all of this. Yet another person diverting attention from actual issues and many here are happy to eat this up.
We aren’t doing enough to protect older people from Russian propaganda either.
I’m more worried about 50+ year old adults who are folly for disinformation on Facebook, they are regressing the country.
I mean she can go fuck herself, but she’s not wrong – young people are being coerced into increasingly ridiculous stunts for clout through social media, old people are being scammed through social media, everything is becoming some weird form of fucking social media, kids are being brainwashed by iPads… realistically the internet was a mistake.
