    Well I opened their sub and the first post is a meltdown about Trump, maybe the protostar is not political enough to them.

    To be honest, you probably did not discover this. A lot of the JWST data is proprietary for a few months after the observing run so that the original observing proposal P.I. can do their proposed science on the images before they go public.

    Had a similar thing happen to me a few years ago, shared a really cool timelapse image of the milky way taken from a DIY setup and despite it getting lots of positive attention, had it deleted for “lOw qUaliTy”.

    Best of all was reaching out to their mods and not getting an actual response, then being muted for a while when demanding an actual explanation.
