      They also sell large blocks of cheese, I think it’s cheddar, in this same style of non-branded packaging

    3. Aussie made, 95%+ Aussie ingredients. That’s all the nice packaging I need, I’d buy that in a heartbeat.

    4. I would be okay with everything being like this. Minimalism in food packaging seems god tier imo. I ain’t paying for no fancy ink.

      It’s pretty much Philadelphia cream cheese. Same packaging and almost identical ingredients and nutritional info.

      It’s giving cigarette plain packaging. Is someone trying to convince us dairy is going to kill us?

    7. Reminds me of the movie ‘The Host’ and the supermarket with all the generic items

      I love how examples of socialist dystopia are always actual examples of capitalist dystopia

      Woolworths have a whole range of these. They’re called White Label and they’re actually better than some of the other cheapo cheeses out there.

      The picture on woolworths shows it comes from Mondelez international, located in South Australia

    11. I mean, I assume no branding simply means it’s homebrand. I don’t find that dystopian.

      If anything it’s an overall positive if less energy and resources are being spent on eye-catching packaging.

    12. Yes! I’ve waited so long for a brand to do this either ironically/aesthetics or for eco reasons. But I’ll take actually poverty I guess!

    13. The brand is called ‘White Label’. They also do a few varieties in grated/sliced/block cheese.

    14. * What you’re buying: Cream Cheese
      * How much you’re buying: 250g
      * What’s in the thing you’re buying: Has to be there somewhere legally

      Seems like everything that matters is there, 2 bits of useless info can’t be worse than 10 bits of useless info and a pic of some cows.

      Ill take nameless and cheap with all the important information over branded with marketing wank and an upcharge in a heartbeat

      It’s called ‘white label’, I haven’t checked other comments to see if someone has already told you. I love it and want everything to be ‘white label’
